Services
Apsley House has accommodation for up to 35 elderly nursing patients, with mostly single en suite rooms and a few companion rooms. The amenities of the house include services such as hairdressing, chiropody and physiotherapy. Personal laundry is included in the weekly fees. Each room is equipped with a 'Nurse-Call' terminal, remote control colour television if required and private telephone point.
Patients are welcome to bring their own effects subject to space limitations and Visitors are most welcome at all reasonable hours.
Apsley House is happy to accommodate both long and short stay patients of all age groups in the following categories: Convalescent, Post-Operative, Medical, Geriatric and Terminal.
We have close links with the MS Society, The MacMillan Nurses and local General Practioners, Hospitals and Social Services Care Managers.
The care is delivered by trained carers over the full 24 hour period.
